In the Toolspace, on the Toolbox tab, expand Miscellaneous Utilities Export KML. Keyhole was the founding company of the Earth Viewer software that Google Earth was built upon. It is a compressed version of a KML (Keyhole Markup Language) file. KMZ stands for Keyhole Markup language Zipped. KMZ is a file extension for a placemark file used by Google Earth. In the TOC right-clic on dxf layer and in the menu select Data>Export Data. In ArcMap it is possible to export a dxf into shapefile. When the conversion process is complete, you can download the KML file. Click “Convert” button to start conversion.
Click “Choose File” button to select a dwg file on your computer. Under the Layer drop-down, select the desired shapefile, or drag and drop the desired shapefile into the drop-down.To open the conversion tool window, double-click Layer To KML for an individual shapefile, or double-click Map To KML for compressed KML files.
